About Us

Established in 1958 by Huey Miller Sr., ServiceMaster of Lafayette was originally established as a carpet cleaning franchise. In the mid 60's Huey expanded into smoke and damage restoration. In the mid 70's as bigger and better equipment became available for water damage restoration the company expanded to handle water mitigation. Following in their father's footsteps, Huey Miller Jr., Tommy Miller, and Paul Miller all have an interest in the company. Huey Jr. oversees the Large Loss Commercial Restoration. Tommy Miller handles all fire losses at each location. Paul Miller manages all water losses at each location. Each one joining the company at the age of 14 have a combined experience of over 100 years.

Over the years ServiceMaster of Lafayette has progressed into being South Louisiana's Fire & Water Recovery Specialists. Upon request we have traveled to many areas across the nation.

ServiceMaster of Lafayette has established an excellent reputation in the property and casualty damage restoration industry. Insurance representatives, architects, industrial hygienists and general contractors in South Louisiana all recognize ServiceMaster of Lafayette as a reliable organization built on trust, integrity, quality, and service.

Expanding our territory in 2003 ServiceMaster Advantage in Lake Charles was opened. Servicing all of Southwest Louisiana. In 2009 ServiceMaster by Miller was acquired. Serving all of Central Louisiana.
